Come join us at our 3rd Annual Megabon created by JCI Honolulu and Hawaii Todaiji!

We are excited and happy to announce our new home: Leeward Community College! There we will be able to continue our mission of rekindling bon dance in Hawaii while showcasing LCC’s educational programs, and continue supporting local businesses and performers.

We will also be featuring Osaka Expo 2025’s official theme song “Kono Hoshi No Tsuzuki Wo”! Come down to the dance circle to learn this fun and upbeat bon dance!

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. Introducing a new and exciting Cultural Exchange Opening Ceremony with Hawaiian performances from The Women of Hālau Ka Waikahe Lani and Mālie & Men of Hālau Kahulaliwai and Taiko Drums from Ryugen Taiko, you’ll want to come early for this to get your seats! Program starts at 4:15pm!

Our team is working with our sister chapters from Osaka, Japan, to bring authentic games, merchandise, and the true essence of the bon dance to Hawaii.
